Learning about Swaziland.

Room 3 are learing about at Swaziland. Mr B began the discussion on Wednesday and Ms Betts decided it would be good to look a bit further since all of our Room 3 Thinkers want to know more.

These are the group, so far, and the research questions the class have come up with...

What dangers are there in Swaziland? - Oscar, Riley and Jahniq

What are the different types of housing in Swaziland? - Zoe and Lilly

What food is grown in Swaziland? - Charlotte and Sarah

What does the royal family of Swaziland do? Ethan and Walter, Luke and Kahn

What clothes do people in Swaziland wear? - Tais and Lily, Maddox and Jack

What are the native animals and plants in Swaziland? Kimberley, Amber and Brooke

Next week we wil be doing a lot of research to find key facts. Keep an eye on the blog for updates!

Vegetables... in alphabetical order!

We wrote down all the vegetables we could think of - some we like and eat all the time and some that haven't been tried by everyone in the class. Then, after Ms Betts typed them up, we cut the words out and arranged them in alphabetical order...

Quite tricky with so many words to arange - usually we only have ten words to put in alphabetical order!

More yummy soup!

We made soup again last Thursday. A very big thank you to Mrs Wright and Mrs Maguire.  We split into two teams - The Boys with Maddox's mum and The Girls with Zoe's mum, very original!

The Girls...

And The Boys...

Why was Maddox crying and the boys laughing at him?

And then the whole class watched the carrot soup being cooked and blended...very funny watching everyone jump at the unexpected noise!

 Yum, the soups were delicious!
